Works great, saves charcoal

Don’t know why it took me so long to get this - easiest and most predictable way to start a fire

I haven't used it yet but it arrived quickly and looks to be good quality.

I purchased the smaller chimney because I typically use less charcoal for a fire.

This makes prepping the charcoal easy and fast. Good quality.

Nifty, better than big one.

Perfect for smaller amounts of charcoal. Great for longer cooks if you don’t want a lot a fuel and a lot of heat at the onset of your cook.

It’s a very effective charcoal starter. The holes in the side help the fire climb by supplying air for combustion. One thing that would make it a five star product would be to make it bigger. It doesn’t hold enough to fire up the entire grill of a full size webber

Fits perfectly over gas grill side burner for igniting long to burn charcoal such as binchotan.

Bought this a while ago, and it holds enough charcoal for the Smokey Joe. I use lump charcoal, so I try to use medium sized pieces, and fill it to the top. After about 10 minutes, I dump it out into the grill the add more charcoal for higher temps. Definitely recommend a chimney regardless of grill.

Well, if there weren't 2 feet of snow outside I would probably have tried it out by now, but that's not the case! But from what I'm told by friends they work great and there is not that much technology involved here so it should work just fine!

Lights the charcoal with couple sheets of news paper as advertised. This way works as well as the method I always used in the past which is lighting the charcoal directly in the kamado using the venting door at bottom and top. Not sure which way is best but I now have both ways of doing it.

Works as described. Easy to use. Opted for the paraffin wax cubes. Charcoal heated quickly in five minutes! Gave the first one to my son. My husband was impressed and is going to buy one for himself.
